Role Overview
Recommend the review of policies and regulations for the Department to the Director.; Design and develop an appropriate monitoring and evaluation (M&E) system in the Ministry.; Coordinate the monitoring and evaluation of Ministry projects and programmes.; Manage the analysis of reports from the various Ministry Departments and produce reports.; Develop and evaluate quantitative and qualitative research within the Ministry.; Manage the development and maintenance of an updated database of all programmes and projects in the Ministry.; Coordinate the conduct of market research into factors likely to impact on the Ministry’s achievement of strategic goals.
Requirements & Qualifications
• • A degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Economics, Business Administration and Project Management or equivalent.
• A Masters degree in the above fields is an added advantage.
• A minimum of six (6) years relevant professional experience, two of which must be at Principal Officer Level.
• A high degree of maturity, self-discipline, initiative and creativity.
• Extensive planning, organization, analytical and project management abilities.
• Must have a good understanding of Ministerial functions and Government operations.
• Well-developed communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Computer literacy.
