Role Overview
Contribute in the formation, evaluation and review of policies for sport infrastructure development and management in line with the Ministry's strategic plan and national development aspirations; Provide for effective implementation of strategies for planned projects to ensure that contracted firms meet their contractual obligations; Coordinate the complication of responses to audit queries and observations in respect of management of sport infrastructure; Coordinate the development of budgets and funding strategies for sport infrastructure development and management programmes
Requirements & Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Project Management/ Estates Management or equivalent
• A relevant Master's degree is an added advantage
• Should have at least six (6) years relevant experience in the Officer Grade or equivalent
• Expertise in planning, coordinating and executing projects to ensure timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives
• Ability to establish performance metrics, track progress and deliver comprehensive reports for accountability and continuous improvements
• Good written and oral communication with a broad spectrum of stakeholders
• Ability to employ information communication technology in sport infrastructure development and management and related decision areas.
