Full-time Ref: A/GEN/13/15 Vacancy No: 20 DEPUTY DIRECTOR, SPORT INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENT MINISTRY OF SPORT, RECREATION, ARTS AND CULTURE Harare, Zimbabwe Application Deadline July 25, 2026 Sign in to Apply Role Overview Contribute in the formation, evaluation and review of policies for sport infrastructure development and management in line with the Ministry's strategic plan and national development aspirations; Provide for effective implementation of strategies for planned projects to ensure that contracted firms meet their contractual obligations; Coordinate the complication of responses to audit queries and observations in respect of management of sport infrastructure; Coordinate the development of budgets and funding strategies for sport infrastructure development and management programmes Requirements & Qualifications • Bachelor of Science Degree in Project Management/ Estates Management or equivalent • A relevant Master's degree is an added advantage • Should have at least six (6) years relevant experience in the Officer Grade or equivalent • Expertise in planning, coordinating and executing projects to ensure timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives • Ability to establish performance metrics, track progress and deliver comprehensive reports for accountability and continuous improvements • Good written and oral communication with a broad spectrum of stakeholders • Ability to employ information communication technology in sport infrastructure development and management and related decision areas. Requirements
