Job Title: Gender Equality Unit Intern Location: Remote (South Africa, Zimbabwe, Kenya or Ghana preferred) Closing Date: 14 June 2026 Contract: Internship This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of gender equality, workplace culture, ESG, research, strategy, advocacy, and private-sector engagement. The successful candidate will support work ranging from: • Research and thought leadership • Proposal and concept note development • Stakeholder engagement and event coordination • Communications and content creation • Gender equality and GBVH programmes across Africa The ideal candidate should be: • A good writer with strong communication skills • Highly organised and proactive • Passionate about gender equality and social impact • Able to manage competing priorities with guidance and support • Eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment Preference will be given to candidates studying or recently graduated in: • Gender Studies • Social Sciences • Communications • Development Studies • Public Policy • Business • ESG • Related fields This opportunity is suited for individuals who are early in their career and looking for an opportunity to contribute to meaningful work while developing practical skills and exposure.
