This Fundraising & Communications Internship offers an opportunity to contribute to international peacebuilding work while gaining practical experience in communications, donor engagement, and fundraising within a global non-profit environment.
• Job Title: Fundraising & Communications Intern
• Job Location: Remote (Working from Home)
• Closing Date: 29 June 2026, 23:59 GMT
• Contract: Volunteer Internship (6 months, 3 days/week, 22 hours) The internship is offered by Concordis International, a UK-registered charity working in Central African Republic, Cameroon, Chad, Sudan, Abyei, and South Sudan.
The intern supports the Fundraising and Communications Manager and contributes to external engagement, visibility, and income-generation activities focused primarily on European supporters.
The role is designed as a learning-focused internship where the successful candidate develops professional skills while contributing to real, public-facing work.
The Fundraising & Communications Intern supports a range of communications and fundraising functions, including:
• Gathering stories, photos, and videos from programme teams
• Assisting in the creation of website content, newsletters, social media posts, and reports
• Supporting design and layout of digital and print communication materials
• Contributing to internal and external communication needs
• Supporting donor communications and fundraising campaigns
• Assisting in proposal development
• Supporting CRM system updates and management
• Tracking engagement metrics across communication platforms
• Supporting reporting on outreach and communications performance

• Strong interest in peacebuilding, international development, or humanitarian work
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Basic graphic design skills, with experience using tools such as Canva
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a remote team environment
• Interest in fundraising, donor relations, or communications
• Skills in areas such as journalism, content writing, UX/UI, CRM systems, newsletters, or social media
• Knowledge of French and/or Arabic is an advantage due to the organisation’s multilingual environment
This is a volunteer internship. However, Concordis International provides:
• Reimbursement of reasonable work-related expenses
• Small daily lunch allowance
• Flexible working arrangements across time zones
• Professional exposure to international peacebuilding communications and fundraising work
