Full-time Ref: A/GEN/13/ Vacancy No: 33 Deputy Director, Strategic Planning Service wide Harare, Zimbabwe Application Deadline July 02, 2026 Sign in to Apply Role Overview Participate in the review of policies and regulations for the Ministry in line with national development goals and imperatives; Facilitate the preparation of the Ministry's Strategic Plan; Monitor the implementation of the Ministry's Strategic Plan by the various Departments; Supervise the analysis of reports from the various Ministry Departments and produce reports; Develop strategic tools for use by the Ministry in strategic thinking, planning and implementation; Provide technical advice in the development of aligned and integrated Departmental plans; Design programmes that support the Ministry's strategic purpose and intents; Develop and evaluate quantitative and qualitative research within the Department; Facilitate and prepare speeches and papers for local and international conferences Requirements & Qualifications • A degree in Strategic Management/Monitoring and Evaluation/Project Management/Economics or equivalent • A masters degree in the above fields is an added advantage • At least six years in the Officer grade or equivalent • Extensive planning, organization, analytical, and project management abilities • Extensive experience of evidence based strategic policy development Back to all opportunities
